Top 50 Companies for Customer Service for 2013 announced!

The Top 50 Companies for Customer Service is pleased to announce the most outstanding business leaders in customer service for 2013.

Taking the position of Best Overall for 2013 was Dignity Caring Funeral Services for the second year in a row!

Last night, close to a 1,000 guests attended the sensational black tie gala ceremony at the Westminster Park Plaza.

As the largest benchmarking exercise for customer service within UK business, an exceptional average score of 95% in customer service satisfaction was achieved across the top 10 participants.

The evening presented accolades to the companies who have gone above and beyond to deliver impeccable customer service, and celebrated as Lisa Snowdon, model, television personality and presenter, took to the stage to present the worthy winners with their awards.

Businesses are responding to customer demand for a personalised service and are working to maintain the relationships they have. This has been reflected over the last 2 years with the hugely valuable Top 50 average score going up by an astounding 6.3%. Other landmark scores revealed on the night included the highest ever top 10 average for email of 94.1% and the highest ever individual score for Email performance at an astonishing 98%.

For the very first year of the Top 50 Social Pioneers programme was launched and saw a top 10 average of 91.5% and a top 50 average of nearly 94%.

Lara Doyle is CallCentre.co.uk’s Senior Content Manager responsible for sourcing, writing, editing content for the site as well as facilitating the Contact Centre & Customer Service Community. When Lara isn’t working on the website, she is visiting contact centres and talking to managers and team leaders about their successes and challenges. She also spends a lot of her time talking to global industry experts about their opinions and expertise. She takes time out of her busy schedule to host and participate in industry networking events and as a judge of the European Call Centre & Customer Service Awards. Lara obtained a BA in English and History from the University of Cape Town and a BSc in Communication Science from the University of South Africa. After graduating she travelled extensively before embarking on her Editorial career during which she has worked on everything from travel magazines, text books, medical journals and now the call centre!
